The book
The future doesn’t happen.
It is designed.
For more than a decade, one question followed Ahmed across digital strategies, innovation programs, and transformation initiatives: why do organizations struggle with the future — even after investing millions in strategies designed to make them “future-proof”?
Yet filmmakers seemed able to do something different: imagine technologies, behaviors, and worlds long before they existed. Iron Man imagined intelligent assistants. Minority Report envisioned gesture computing. Years later, fiction was becoming reality.
What if organizations could combine the imagination of fiction with the rigor of strategy — not simply to anticipate the future, but to help shape it? The Fiction Engine is the answer.
